It’s very delicious. Chef and cashier are very nice. I ordered just salmon bowl. They gave me salmon maki for free. It’s very nice service. ????
We went out to eat here because of the good recession. The restaurant is small and well located. The kitchen is open and you can watch. The staff are very friendly, which was great. We ate sushi and can only tell you about it. The sushi is average at best. They still need to improve a lot. Try it again
Went to The Sushi Co with my good friend after we finished our 12 hour finish working at the hospital nearby. We were greeted very nicely by the staff at this restaurant and sitted immediately. We order the sharing platter which came with 43 sushi’s of different kinds, which were so delicious! Also we ordered the crispy prawn bao buns, which were also amazingly delicious! We didn’t know the restaurant did discounts for NHS staff but as the staff member who was giving us the bill was talking to us, we stated that we work for the NHS, he immediately told us we can get NHS discount and that if he knew we would’ve put it on our bill earlier. Hahah in the end we did get the discount and the food was very good! Would recommend 100%
Workers showed a blatant disregard for hygiene! 1) Workers were preparing sushi without wearing gloves. 2) Dropped toppings onto a floor mat and then placed them onto food that was about to be served. The staff were fully aware that we were observing them, as once we saw they were not wearing gloves we had specifically requested that they do so when handling the food. Despite this, a man still attempted to serve us food that was dropped onto the floor! When we realized they were about to serve us food that had been in contact with the floor, we immediately canceled our order and decided to leave. The manager offered to remake our food (the restaurant was empty, so it was clear this sushi was intended for us), but we no longer felt comfortable eating there. In the photos attached you can see the worker picking up food off the floor as well as placing it back on the worktop to be used again. Disgusting attitude to hygiene.
